I'm confused. Isn't the freedom to speak out against a certain religion called "religious freedom"? I guess not according to Scientologists.
Contact Myspace. Contact the Scientologist trying to stop religious freedom. Ask them what is going on.
UPDATE: NOVEMBER 2006
|
Scientologists have hijacked the myspace site www.myspace.com/thedarksideofscientology.
It's a dead site. Myspace.com won't do anything. So, can anything be done?
The story:
Scientologists once again are convincing myspace.com to close accounts of 'TheDarksideOfScientology' and other critical sites of their religion
From TheDarksideOfScientology:
"They said I violated the terms of service, of course they gave no specifics. I will continue to hound them about it. This was my Myspace account address www.myspace.com/thedarksideofscientology hopefully some of you can send in some complaints as well." She goes on to say, "Also, if OSA catches this, I plan on notifying 100's of thousands of people about your CULT through the mail. I used to work for a place that generates massive mailing lists, I will start with Orange County then move to Los Angeles. I'll end up doing even more, if my account on Myspace isn't restored, this really pisses me off and that's pure motivation for me. This is the 4th time my account has been deleted and I'm more motivated now than ever. That profile had close to 100,000 hits and I had posted on many groups, potentially informing a couple million more people with links to this site, as well as XENUTV.COM. Scientology is a joke and the world is laughing at you."

From a MySpace spokesperson about their last deletion of this profile:
"We do not delete profiles for religious reasons. Our community welcomes an extraordinarily broad range of free expression and criticism of a religion alone would not constitute a basis for removing a profile."

Here's a post from a Myspace PRO Scientology group, the groups name is Applied Scientology:
Here's the link to the group, they had a hit list, for profiles to complain about and get deleted, mine has always been one of them.

"Hey Yall
We should all send in a report on this fucking SP.
This is a repost of Emily's bulletin. Please do what it says to help get rid of this profile which is antagonistic towards Scientology and religiously intolerant. The link is:

Scott"
Scientologist then proceed to say how they are going to report the site to myspace.com to get it shut down. The site in question has nothing violent, racist, or any other thing that would get a site shut down according to myspace.com's terms and conditions, it just educates people about the evils of Scientology.
The site is now back up now for the fourth time
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile
Here's what the critical site of scientology has to say on it's page:
This profile is kept and updated by myself and a few ex-Scientologists (who have experienced the "Church's" crimes firsthand). We are considered criminals and "SPs" (Supressive Persons) by the "Church" of Scientology and Scientologists. If you have a critical opinion of Scientology, you're automatically a criminal or and/or an "SP". If you've ever criticized the religion to one of it's members, I'm sure you were labeled one of those by the individual. We will post links to the sites we get our information from. We will also post interviews from ex-Scientologists, telling their experiences from within the "Church" and documents proven to be authentic. Any links provided are in turn are not our sites, we may pull information from them to help explain or prove our experiences. Thanks for stopping by and for those re-joining us...welcome back! We were touched by all the support we received from you all.
**************************************
Scientologists on Myspace are against our 1st Amendment right of Freedom of Speech. They had our last profile deleted. Like I stated previously, anyone against Scientology is a criminal and MUST be stopped, atleast that's their mindset. The funny thing is one of their beliefs is to grant individuals "beingness", so I don't see how taking away our Freedom of Speech is granting us "beingness". For those who say we are robbing them of their Freedom of Religion, we are in no way doing that. They are free to believe what they'd like. We're here to further educate those who want to know more about the "Church" of Scientology, not just what the "Church" spoon feeds to it's parishioners.
**************************************
We do not endorse attacking any Scientologist. Most are unaware and unwilling to listen to anything negative the "Church" has done. It's pretty much a waste of time and effort trying to "convert" a Scientologist. Most of them are good people, with good intention, unfortunately they're brainwashed by a greedy cult...The "Church" of Scientology.
Contact Myspace.com and voice your opinion about this. Myspace is one of the most visited sites on the Internet. Stop Myspace.com from destroying everthing that freedom of speech stands for.

- Don't let them shut it down for a fourth time.

From a MySpace spokesperson:
"We do not delete profiles for religious reasons. Our community welcomes an extraordinarily broad range of free expression and criticism of a religion alone would not constitute a basis for removing a profile."
Here's a letter I wrote to the Scientologist responsible for getting this myspace site shut down. Feel free to roll over the high lighted words to go to the website that focuses on this subject:
Good job in shutting this dumb SP's myspace site down! Good work to everyone on this one. This is a major win for scientology.
I just don't understand why everyone doesn't join Scientology? You are stupid if you dont. Why don't people just give Dianetics a chance? I mean, L. Ron Hubbard was a great man. You can't argue that. Well, besides him being a huge war hero, a great father, he also never used drugs. That's more than I can say about a lot of people.
People that give Scientology a chance are awesome. We can save the planet. It is up to us! Stories in Time Magazine, Rolling Stone and even South Park have it all wrong. We are right, they are wrong, it's that simple.
I'm so tired of people saying scientology lies and is full of hate. Sites like xenu.net and lermanet.com have it all backwords. Some day when these ex-scientologist want to rejoin, they'll learn they can't for atleast a billion years. HA! That'll teach them. Who cares if scientology has killed a few people, and many people have lost all their money to it, that's what happens with religions, duh! If you're not prepared to lose your family and friends over a 1950's science fiction writers beliefs, then it's time to maybe join a bowling league or something. Once again, great work in your movement to stop free speech! Hail Xenu!
PWNT!
